Murrayfield Stadium

The impressive, all seated, all covered Murrayfield Stadium is situated in the Costorphine area of Edinburgh, around 4km from Edinburgh’s city centre with fast, easy access from the city’s main train & bus stations.

Back in 1925 Murrayfield Stadium became the home of Scottish Rugby and its first ever match saw Scotland defeat the Auld Enemy, England, to clinch a first ever Grand Slam. Today, Murrayfield Stadium is recognised as one of the most prestigious stadia in Europe, playing host to not just Rugby matches but a whole host of key Sporting Events, Highland Games, sell out music Concert Tours including the incredible Live 8 concerts held in 2005 and even a youth rally to welcome His Holiness The Pope.

At Murrayfield Stadium you can walk in the path of your heroes with a fantastic 'behind the scenes' tour of the stadium and visit areas not normally open to the public, such as the player’s dressing rooms, the player's tunnel, the Royal Box, hospitality suites, the Bill McLaren Press Gallery and of course the turf of the world-famous Murrayfield Stadium pitch.
